About The Position
CareOne Senior Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a part-time position supporting a client in the Waterford area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing one-on-one care in a structured environment. The caregiver will provide companionship and daily support to a client who benefits from routine, structure, and assistance with everyday tasks. This is a one-on-one care assignment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license required (must be comfortable driving client’s vehicle if needed)
- Reliable transportation and active auto insurance
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
- Physically able to assist with light activity (up to 25 lbs)
- Must pass background screening
- TB test required (can be completed after hire)
- Reliable phone for scheduling and communication
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare meals as needed
- Support with daily routines and activities
- Assist with transportation when required
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
