About The Position

Griswold Home Care for East Louisville is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as full-time Caregivers. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting clients with daily tasks to help them live as independently as possible in their homes. The position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for both day and night shifts, catering to clients who may need varying levels of care, from a few hours to 24-hour support. Caregivers are responsible for tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance (bathing, feeding), and providing companionship, particularly to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. The role requires maintaining client dignity, professional conduct, timely documentation, and routine communication with the office regarding client needs and conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.

Provide companionship to clients, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments.
Ensure clients receive the highest quality of elderly care with dignity and professionalism.
