Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of professional healthcare or in-home caregiving experience.
Experience using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and assisting with safe transfers and ambulation.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Current auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of their home.
Ability to provide care to both male and female clients.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to help seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Assist with transfers and ambulation.
Prepare meals.
Provide medication reminders.
Offer companionship.
Perform light housekeeping.
Run errands.
Encourage clients to stay active and engaged in their daily routines.
Observe changes in a client's condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.
