About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers in the North Port area to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. This role offers flexible hours and steady work, allowing you to make a meaningful difference. Most opportunities are weekday daytime shifts, with schedules varying based on client needs. We welcome experienced caregivers, including CNAs, HHAs, and those with hands-on caregiving experience but without formal certification.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Other duties as assigned
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
