About The Position

Fellowship Square is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Caregiver to provide high-quality, hands-on care and support to residents. The caregiver assists with daily activities and helps maintain residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being. The role includes administering medications according to care plans, following individualized care plans, monitoring and documenting health, providing companionship, and working collaboratively with colleagues and families. The caregiver also helps maintain a safe and clean environment and responds appropriately to emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Submit a negative TB test before starting.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Proficiency in medication administration and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to safely lift and transfer residents.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism.
• Consistent professional and positive demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in assisted living or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as outlined in residents’ care plans.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and eating.
• Observe and document residents’ health and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident’s needs.
• Provide companionship and encourage a positive environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free living environment.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families about resident care.
