About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to help seniors and veterans live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, light housekeeping, and assistance with everyday activities. The role emphasizes showing kindness, offering reassurance, building trust, and being present for clients.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to travel to clients within a 20-mile radius
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients
- Able to pass required background checks and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience
- Experience using a Hoyer lift
- Experience using a gait belt
