About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services – Greater West Houston provides compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals who need support with daily living activities. They focus on delivering care that promotes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. They are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to support an active client case in Houston, TX (77408) requiring light-duty care.
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care experience is a plus)
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles when needed
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is ideal but not required
- Dementia experience required
Responsibilities
- Follow the care plan outlined by a supervisor to assist with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and ensure client safety
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Monitor and observe the client’s overall well-being and report any changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
