About The Position
Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is seeking amazing Caregivers to service clients in and around the Lincoln University area, serving Delaware and Chester County. This role involves providing non-medical home care services to seniors, offering companionship, and assisting with daily living activities.
Requirements
- Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
- Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray
- Clear background checks, and drug screening
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
- A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, and DSP Certification preferred
- Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
- Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
- Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
- Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
