About The Position

As a Senior Helpers of Central Dallas Caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients AND their families. Our Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. Requirements

  • One year Agency/Facility care giving experience within the past 2 years.
  • Active CNA
  • Professional Job references required
  • You are passionate about helping others
  • You have strong communication and listening skills
  • You have a smart phone and can navigate smart phone apps
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Auto Insurance
  • Must have reliable vehicle (role may require transporting clients in caregivers personal vehicle)
  • Drug testing conducted at training

Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Reminding clients to take their medications as prescribed.
  • Running errands, including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and providing transportation.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client.
  • Documenting care activities and any changes in the client's condition.
  • Engaging clients in their hobbies
