About The Position
Actively Hiring In Home Experienced Caregivers. Hourly Pay Rate: $23-$27. Shifts Available: 4-12 Hour Shifts, Monday-Sunday. Location: La Jolla, CA, and North County San Diego. Cheer Home Care is looking for compassionate non-medical home care providers for the elderly and disabled. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home. This role is ideal for individuals with a vibrant personality and exceptional skills who want to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities.
Requirements
- Helping with activities of daily living
- Dementia Care Experience
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and physical support (up to 100-150lbs)
- Current enrollment in, or graduation from, a 4-year college or university
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
- Cell phone with internet access
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
- Provide transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
- Provide Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more.
- Provide Hourly Care.
- Perform light housekeeping and organization.
