Caregiver
About The Position
Wallace On Foster House is seeking a Caregiver to provide support to individuals, helping them grow, learn, and live well. This role involves developing meaningful relationships with the individuals served, taking initiative to help them participate in the community and enjoy their favorite activities, and supporting their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The caregiver will assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, and finds meaning in this type of work.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
