About The Position

Visiting Angels of Hanover is seeking dedicated individuals to join their essential care team, providing much-needed support to local seniors in their homes. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours based on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role involves traveling to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA, and surrounding areas. The company offers a $500 sign-on bonus and emphasizes a flexible and secure caregiving career.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required.
• Positive attitude and proven track record of dependability.
• Communicate effectively at all times with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as helping with walking and transfers.
