Caregiver – Home Care Services, Part-Time & Full-Time

At Amada Senior Care, our caregivers are the heart of everything we do. We help seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, non-medical home care and companionship to seniors and veterans. You’ll help clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life while assisting with their individual daily needs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Genuine desire to help seniors and veterans
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout Corrigan, TX, and surrounding communities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care
- Dependability and commitment to scheduled shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and other outings as needed
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Encourage client independence and participation in daily activities
- Follow each client’s care plan and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate office staff
- Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment
