About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and dependable male caregivers to join their growing team in Orange, TX & Surrounding Areas. Caregivers will help seniors and veterans stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by providing non-medical care and companionship. This role is described as meaningful, rewarding, and making a difference every day.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional individuals
- Caregiving experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Providing medication reminders
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Transporting clients to appointments and errands
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence, engagement, and daily well-being
