Each personal care attendant has an extensive training program focusing on quality of care and quality of life. Our personal care attendants understand that there is more to a client's day than personal care and that a day is only successful when the psychosocial needs of the client are met.

Requirements

  • Must have at least one year of experience working with a Home Care agency
  • Must have experience working with Dementia clients
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the organization’s auto insurance requirements. Occasional transport of client(s) is required.
  • Must be passionate about working with seniors to improve their quality of life

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance and companionship to your assigned client
  • Promote your client's quality of life through meaningful activity and/or conversation
  • Provide light housekeeping and meal prep; Transportation as appropriate
  • Follow care plans/instructions; communicate all changes and concerns with the Sage Home Care Manager
  • Complete an electronic daily shift report
  • Comply with Sage Eldercare’s Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
