About The Position
This is a part-time position with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. Visiting Angels of Lancaster, PA is seeking a flexible caregiving role that will keep your evenings free. This position may require travel to serve seniors in Ephrata, Lititz, Gap, Bainbridge, Elizabethtown, and the surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years to apply
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- CNA license preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, and incontinence care
- Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks
- Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed
- Monitor the client to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night
- Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned
