About The Position

Right at Home Salt Lake is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities so they can live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Caregivers enhance clients’ daily lives through companionship and emotional support, personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, maintaining a safe home environment, transportation, and medication reminders. Part-time openings are available on weekdays and weekends in the Salt Lake area.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred.
Dementia certification or CNA experience may affect pay.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal hygiene and mobility.
Prepare healthy meals.
Maintain a safe home environment.
Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
Give timely medication reminders.

Benefits

Competitive pay of $17.00–$18.25 per hour, depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA; minimum $27.50 per shift.
Training/GUIDE Respite Rate of $17.00 per hour.
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews with consistent hours.
Generous bonus after 60 days for caregivers working 20 or more hours per week who complete required documents.
Mileage reimbursement between client visits if visits are under one hour apart.
