About The Position

At Abcor Home Health, we're looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to safely operate gait belts, transfer equipment, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices
• Ability to provide personal care and transportation services as needed
• Reliable vehicle
• Must be available to work

Nice To Haves

• Auto insurance
• Experience assisting clients with mobility limitations
• Experience with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs, and hospital beds

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Support clients with daily living activities
• Transport clients to appointments and errands when needed
• Ensure clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes
• Report changes in client condition to the supervisory team
• Complete visit documentation through our mobile care application
• Safely assist clients with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as required by the client's care plan
• Provide extensive mobility assistance and hands-on physical support to clients requiring it.
