Caregiver - Marietta GA - 15-18/hr - Flexible Hours
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide in-home care for older adults or people with disabilities in Marietta and Cobb County, GA. Our mission is to help individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment. We hire caregivers directly as W-2 employees, not contract workers, and provide consistent hours and 24/7 support. Caregivers will assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Over time, caregivers typically build a consistent client base.
Requirements
- Valid Georgia driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Clear background check.
Nice To Haves
- CNA or PCA experience.
- Genuine experience in caregiving (paid training is available for those without credentials).
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help clients with mobility and moving around safely.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and orderly home.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes to the agency.
- Build a consistent client base and develop strong relationships with clients.
