About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care and support to veterans. Personal Care Aides help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Prior experience is not required; the company provides paid, in-office training and ongoing training. Compensation is based on certifications and experience, and the listed pay range is $15.00–$20.00 per hour. Flexible scheduling and daily pay are offered.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Pass a background check as required by state regulations.
Reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.

Prior caregiving experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleanup, and eating as needed.
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
Perform housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry; use a laundromat if needed.
Be reliable, arrive on time, and maintain consistent attendance.
Assist with activities of daily living.
Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Provide companionship.
