About The Position
ComForCare Home Care is hiring an experienced caregiver to provide compassionate one-on-one care for a senior client in Aurora, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers seeking steady afternoon hours, meaningful work, and the chance to build a lasting relationship with one client. We are looking for a male caregiver to meet the client's care preferences. The role involves improving the client's quality of life through dependable and compassionate care, including personal assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, monitoring changes in condition, following care plans, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Requirements
- Professional caregiving experience
- Experience providing in-home senior care preferred
- Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, companion care, or personal care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion, patience, and reliability
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Personal care assistance and support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Mobility support and fall prevention
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Companionship and social engagement
- Medication reminders
- Monitoring changes in condition and communicating with the care team
- Following individualized care plans
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
