About The Position

Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver for a male client. This role involves providing essential in-home care services, improving the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. The position is scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, approximately 20 hours per week, focusing on morning hours. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred to support the client's communication needs. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a trusted home care provider.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass a background check.
Experience with dementia and behavioral care.

Nice To Haves

Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Offer companionship.
Assist with personal hygiene (peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, brief changes).
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Provide transportation to appointments or outings.
Administer medication reminders.

Benefits

Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews
Generous bonus after 60 days (for those working 20+ hours/week with required documents completed)
Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
