About The Position
AllCare HomeCare is seeking a caring, patient, and dependable caregiver to support an independent female client in maintaining her daily routine and quality of life. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and providing companionship while encouraging independence. The client enjoys drinking coffee, watching television and relaxing at home. She is independent and capable, but benefits from reminders and light support. She appreciates friendly conversation and companionship.
Requirements
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide gentle reminders and encouragement
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- 2 forms of ID
- TB SHOT
- Livescan
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide medication and appointment reminders
- Assist with daily scheduling and routine reminders
- Offer companionship and social engagement
- Encourage independence while providing support as needed
- Assist with light community outings when appropriate
- Document services provided during each shift
