About The Position

Senior Helpers of Northern Utah is seeking a part-time caregiver to assist a male client with personal care and other daily living activities. Due to the intimate nature of the care provided, the client has requested a same-sex caregiver for personal privacy reasons. This role offers flexible weekday hours, making it ideal for caregivers seeking steady work with daytime availability. Assignments are made based on qualifications, availability, client care needs, privacy considerations, and applicable law. Requirements

Must pass a background check.
Must be 18+.
Able to commute to client’s home.
Experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or PCA is helpful.
Qualified caregivers of all genders are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

CNA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Engage in fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships.
Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
Prepare meals for clients.
Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
Report on completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
