About The Position
Koger Home Care, LLC. is seeking reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in the Midlands, SC, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing personal care, including assistance with showering, bed baths, dressing, mouth care, grooming, medication reminders, incontinence care, and standby assistance. Responsibilities also include light housekeeping, companion services, meal preparation, and prescription pick-up. The role requires open availability between 7 AM and 7 PM in various locations (West Columbia/Cayce/Lexington, SC Area; Columbia, SC; Garners Ferry/Hopkins) and the ability to work two weekends per month. The candidate must be comfortable working with pets in the home and providing verbal cues to clients during tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of verifiable professional caregiver experience.
- Pass a 10-year SC SLED Background Check and Drug Screening.
- Have a negative PPD test.
- Valid SC Driver's License.
- Auto insurance.
- Personal vehicle.
- Open availability (7 AM - 7 PM in specified areas).
- Ability to work 2 weekends per month.

Responsibilities
