About The Position

CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide caregiver registry that connects experienced caregivers with clients needing non-clinical, in-home care. The platform allows caregivers to set their own availability and preferences, with the CareLinx team matching them with suitable clients. The role involves providing essential daily support to clients, ensuring their privacy, dignity, and well-being. Caregivers are expected to use the CareLinx mobile app for scheduling, documentation, and communication. The company emphasizes a flexible approach where caregivers control their work schedule while receiving support from a dedicated Care Partner team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
  • Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
  • Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
  • Must pass a background check
  • Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
  • Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
  • Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team
  • Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
  • Communicate with your Care Partner regarding any case updates or client changes
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Provide transportation and errand support (additional opportunity)

  • Assist with telehealth navigation (additional opportunity)
