About The Position
We provide compassionate and dedicated in-home care services to our clients, focusing on treating them with dignity, respect, and compassion. As a Caregiver with Giving Hearts Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of seniors by offering essential non-medical support in private homes and assisted living facilities, helping them maintain their independence and well-being through personalized care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Possess at least one of the following certifications: PCA (Personal Care Aide), HHA (Home Health Aide), or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Own reliable vehicle for local travel
Nice To Haves
- Background check and PPD (Tuberculosis) test clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with Social Security Number
- Minimum 2 years caregiving experience preferred; open to highly qualified candidates with less experience if fully authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stand-by care, including bathing and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and transfers
- Provide supervision and companionship
- Offer medication reminders
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Support clients with walks and exercise
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, including local driving
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
