About The Position

Senior Helpers of Spokane is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join their team as Caregivers. In this role, you will provide one-on-one personal care to clients, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes. The position involves engaging clients in conversation and hobbies, preparing meals, assisting with daily activities of living (ADLs) such as showing, toileting, and medication reminders, and reporting on client activities and condition. Requirements

Ability to pass background checks
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Current car insurance

Washington State Home Care Aides (HCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s)
Showing
Toileting
Med Reminders
Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
