About The Position
Right at Home Columbia is seeking talented and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to join our team. We are a Home Care Franchise System with a mission to reach out with our hearts and touch the hearts of others. Our franchisees provide care to seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes, offering companion care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care services.
Requirements
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate holder.
- Able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Assist with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home.
- Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and doing dishes.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
- Assist with bathing/showering/dressing/shaving.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Provide dementia care.
- Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
