About The Position

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers for weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays). This role involves assisting clients with daily needs, providing companionship, and supporting them in their homes to help maintain their independence and quality of life. Exhava Home Care emphasizes supporting its caregivers with ongoing training, guidance, and a respectful work environment.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Active California HCA registration
• Recent/current TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid U.S. work authorization with valid ID/SS card
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Provide behavioral support when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and errands
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Communicate updates and concerns according to the client’s care plan
