About The Position

AbaCares Services is looking for compassionate Caregivers for our clients in Harrisburg, PA. The Caregiver will provide personal hygiene assistance for our clients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. They will also help with meal preparation, run errands for the client, perform housekeeping duties, and report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency. Requirements

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
• Female and English-speaking
• Has driver’s license
• Not afraid of cats
• Age: at least 27 to 50 years old

Nice To Haves

• Preferably has a car due to her location; previous aides always late by public transportation.
