About The Position
Caregiver - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Zelienople, PA - casual, daylight hours Caregiver Pay Rate starting at $17 per hour. Provides physical assistance and attendant care to home care clients in their place of residence. Provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) for home care clients only. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in providing service to frail elder clients according to assigned responsibilities and Home Care standards. This is a field position with a designated home office location and the incumbent is expected to travel when visiting patients in their homes.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of training in specific areas as required by state regulations governing home care service providers.
- Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a personal caregiver with frail elderly is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides physical assistance and attendant care to home care clients in their place of residence.
- Provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) for home care clients only.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in providing service to frail elder clients according to assigned responsibilities and Home Care standards.
- Independently visit patients in their homes.
