About The Position

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for 12-hour day and overnight shifts throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. At Griswold, we believe people deserve to live in the homes they love as they age. Our caregivers are at the heart of that mission, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Shift times and schedules vary depending on the client.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Dependable, compassionate, and professional
Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a 12-hour shift
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team

Nice To Haves

Caregiving experience is preferred
CNA or PCA certification is a plus but not required
Consistent day, night, and/or weekend availability is especially helpful

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and supervision
Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs
Assisting with mobility and transfers
Preparing meals
Providing medication reminders
Performing light housekeeping
Providing transportation or assistance with errands
Monitoring clients throughout day or overnight shifts
Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent
Communicating updates and concerns to the Griswold office team
