About The Position

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Wellsboro and surrounding communities. You'll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you're supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience is required. If you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk with you.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
