Caregivers Needed - Home Care-Cleveland, TX
About The Position
Experienced Caregivers with a commitment to providing a higher standard of care are needed for Home Care in Cleveland, TX and Surrounding Areas. Day, Evening, Overnight, and Weekend shifts are available, ranging from 4 - 12 hours long. Join our home care team and provide one-on-one support to clients in the comfort of their homes. Requirements
- Minimum one (2) years of caregiving or healthcare experience REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the past year
- Current valid Texas Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull as needed
- Must be able to safely assist clients with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds independently
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Follow care plans and maintain a safe environment for clients
