About The Position

Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who can commit to at least 30 hours per week and are looking for consistent, meaningful work with a supportive team.

Requirements

$20/hour flat rate for this position
Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle
Active automobile insurance required
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally, preferred
CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
Must genuinely enjoy assisting others

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Prepare meals
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders
Run errands and grocery shop
Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
Assist with activities of daily living
Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation
