About The Position

Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, aiming to help every person live well and have a fulfilling career. As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will build genuine connections in 1:1 and small group settings, spending meaningful time out in the community. This includes exploring local events, enjoying hobbies, and learning new skills together. The role involves helping individuals grow, learn, and live well, supporting personal development goals such as budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and independent living skills. Caregivers also assist with personal hygiene and provide compassionate support for individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs. This is a hands-on, heart-first, and deeply rewarding role for patient, adaptable, and motivated individuals. Sevita's mission for over 50 years has been to provide quality services and individualized supports that lead to growth and independence for the 50,000 individuals they serve across the U.S. with their 40,000 team members.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Valid Driver’s License
Access to a registered, insured vehicle
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability, time-management, and multitasking abilities
A compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible mindset
