StoryPoint of Clinton Township is seeking a compassionate and competent Caregiver, trained to pass medications, to join their team. This role involves providing direct care to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and ensuring their well-being. Requirements
- Passionate about working with the elderly.
- Punctuality and Professionalism.
- Interest in pursuing a career in a Healthcare setting (ie, CNA, Nursing, Geriatrics).
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent care for residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, showering, and grooming/dressing.
- Assist residents with dining.
- Provide wheelchair and walking escorts.
- Assist residents with meal, activity, and medication reminders.
- Answer resident call signals.
- Participate in Life Enrichment activities.
