About The Position

Urgently hiring caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for the Lake Murray area in Chapin, South Carolina. Right at Home is a fast-growing international home care company with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities. We provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and support to our caregivers.

Requirements

Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living.
Assist with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
Perform housekeeping activities which include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom.
Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
Assist with bathing/showering/dressing/shaving.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
Provide dementia care.
Engage in companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
