As part of our team, you’ll play a meaningful role in helping seniors live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes, providing peace of mind to those we serve and their families.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is not required
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for each assignment and complete tasks outlined in the individualized plan of care
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including: Preparing meals and washing dishes, Running errands (e.g., grocery shopping), Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming, Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dusting, vacuuming), Offering companionship through conversation, reading, games, and activities, Reminding clients to take medication
- Communicate regularly with your supervisor regarding services provided and any changes or concerns in a client’s health
- Use sound judgment and maintain strict client confidentiality
- Positively represent Connections at Home in every interaction
