About The Position

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is hiring caregivers with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Direct Care Staff (DC) certifications to provide non-medical home care in Chadds Ford, Aston, Media, Pennsylvania, and nearby areas. The role offers consistent assignments, potentially with the same clients each week, and a flexible schedule with available hours. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination.

A $250 new-hire cash bonus is paid two months after hiring if the caregiver works 100 hours within those two months. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour depending on the case or shift, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

• CNA, HHA, or DC certification.
• At least one year of hands-on caregiving experience; experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Compassionate, upbeat attitude and a love for the senior community.
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Completed or ability to complete a 2-Step PPD or chest X-ray.
• Provide references and undergo background checks and drug screening.
• Provide proof of vaccination.

• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care experience.

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ homes clean and clutter-free.
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands.
• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming.
• Offer companionship and friendship to seniors and their loved ones.
• Maintain communication among seniors, family members, co-workers, and office staff.
• Perform non-medical home care services as needed.
