Requirements

• Active CNA or HCA license
• CPR certification required
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration) required
• Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and must be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles, outdoor walks, fishing, and other activities that provide social and emotional support
• Memory Care support: providing structure, redirection, and compassionate support for clients with dementia
