About The Position

Hope Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional/Caregiver to support youth aged 13-21. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by providing compassionate, innovative, and extraordinary service. The position involves attending sporting events, movies, and other activities with the youth, requiring the candidate to be a driver. Hope Human Services provides paid training for those without experience and offers comprehensive company benefits.

Requirements

At least six months of similar experience working directly with vulnerable populations.
Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
21 years of age.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and three years of licensed driving experience.
A High School Diploma or GED.
Pass a background check through DSHS & DCYF.
Be available to work at least one weekend shift per week.

Responsibilities

Teaching and coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.
Assisting with or providing basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene & medication.
Providing supervision & engagement.
Facilitating community outings.
