About The Position

At Nurse Next Door, we believe aging should be celebrated. Through our Happier Aging philosophy, we help seniors live independently and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to support a growing number of clients who have requested male caregivers as part of their care team. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Canadian caregiving experience
• PSW certificate or equivalent caregiving experience preferred
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Criminal Record Check
• Minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Available for at least 15 hours per week
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
• Able to travel within Mississauga

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Follow individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication
• Promote client safety, independence, and well-being
