About The Position

Innovative Home Services (IHS) at Freedom Village at Brandywine is a private duty home care agency seeking compassionate, motivated, and energetic Companions/Caregivers/Homemakers. As an IHS Companion, you will provide light housekeeping and companion services one-on-one within a beautiful, upscale campus. We offer personalized supportive care to residents seven days a week. This role provides the opportunity for flexible scheduling, with potential for over 20 hours per week, offering independence and flexibility while working with a great team at our West Brandywine location.

Requirements

• Current HHA certificate
• Current CPR certification.
• Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.

Nice To Haves

• Previous companion experience is preferred.
• Previous HHA experience great but not required.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance such as showers, dressing, grooming
• Shopping and errands
• Companionship
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping such as laundry
• Assistance with going to medical appointments.
