We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver / Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in the Cedonia area of Baltimore. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys building relationships with clients, and is comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility, and transportation to medical appointments.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving, PCA, HHA, or home care experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility needs
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking support
- Accompany client to medical appointments and provide transportation
- Follow the established care plan and report any changes in the client's condition
- Provide companionship and promote a safe, comfortable home environment
