About The Position

CARE Homecare is a licensed, non-medical home care organization providing personalized, one-on-one care to individuals of all ages, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who take pride in helping others feel safe, supported, and as independent as possible.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or direct care experience
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Valid driver’s license
• Current negative TB test
• First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a Live Scan/background check
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Dementia experience preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Provide companionship and support independence
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
• Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
• Provide medication reminders
• Communicate with families and the CARE Homecare team
• Document care and important changes
