Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing and showering, grooming, oral care, hair care, and shaving, skin and foot care, dressing and TED stockings, toileting and continence care, mobility, transfers, ambulation, and Hoyer lifts, exercise and range-of-motion activities, vital signs and other tracking procedures, and medication reminders.
Help clients maintain a comfortable home by providing light housekeeping, laundry and linen care, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation and companionship for appointments and activities.
Build meaningful relationships and help clients stay socially and mentally engaged through games, cards, puzzles, and crafts, reading and reminiscing, watching movies, helping with letters and correspondence, community outings and activities, and visits with friends, neighbors, and community groups. Basic pet care is also included.
Provide support for clients who need Alzheimer's and dementia care, diabetic care, Parkinson's disease care, cancer care, post-operative care, respite care, and end-of-life care.
