About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNA, HHA, and PCA caregivers for flexible schedules with consistent hours and cases close to home. We are looking for compassionate professionals with experience in personal care and dementia support who want a reliable and supportive work environment.

Requirements

• Active CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in Virginia
• Experience with personal care, dementia care, and mobility assistance
• CPR certification and negative TB screening
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist safely with transfers

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
• Assist with transfers and mobility support
• Support clients with daily routines and safety
• Offer companionship and engagement
• Provide dementia care with patience and understanding
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication reminders and documentation
