About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our growing team in the Atlanta, GA area. This role involves providing personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, assisting them with daily living activities, and helping them maintain their independence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a professional attitude.

Requirements

Previous caregiving, home care, PCA, or CNA experience preferred.
Must be comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs.
Must be physically able to assist with client transfers and lifting as required for the client's care plan.
Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional attitude.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred).
Ability to pass a background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Current CNA certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and lifting clients when appropriate and in accordance with safe lifting practices.
Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
Work comfortably in homes with cats and dogs, providing care while respecting clients' beloved pets.
Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.
Build meaningful relationships while helping clients maintain their independence.
